Un Pomeriggio a Bogle Vineyards

Quasi, due e mezzi settimane fa, Kaitlyn ed io abbiamo cenato a la mia casa nel mio patio. Quella notte, lei ha portato una bottiglia di vino da un vigneto si chiamato – Bogle. Quella notte, ho cercato per il suo indirizzo nel mio iPhone e ho trovato che Bogle é stato vicino a Sacramento, CA. Bogle é uno de suo preferito vigneto ed aquello tempo, stavo organizzando un viaggio per lei ed io. Quel notte, mi ho realizzato che ho voluto portarla a Bogle per visitare il suo vigneto e provare i suoi vini. Ma, Kaitlyn non ha saputo niente su dove ci sarebbe andato. Lei solamente ha saputo che ci sarebbe andato in qualche luogo per un giorno e una notte.

Abbiamo volato da Palo Alto al aeroporto executivo di Sacramento questo sabato passato nel pomeriggio per un viaggio delle sorprese (puoi leggere piú di nostro volo al mio posto – 1st Fall Getaway). Dopo di una guida corta dal aeroporto attraverso la campagna vicino il fiume di Sacramento, siamo arrivati al vigneto di Bogle. Il vigneto é molto bello con un giardino ed area per fare un picnic (puoi leggere piú di nostro tempo nel suo giardino al mio posto – Un Viaje de Sorpresas en Sacramento).

A Bogle, Kaitlyn ed io abbiamo provato molti dei suoi vini e io sono molto impressionato con suoi vini. Tutti dei suoi vini erano molto liscio ed equilibrato. Ogni tempo che ho provato un vino, ho uno sguardo di sorpreso.  Quello giorno, Bogle ha il seguente sette vini per degustazione.

I miei preferiti erano il Sauvignon Blanc (lo stesso che ho avuto quando Kaitlyn ed io abbiamo cenato a la mia casa), il Moscato, il Phantom, e il Petite Sirah Port. Abbiamo provato il Port con cioccolato ed era molto bene con cioccolato. Normalmente, non mi piace Port, ma con cioccolato era molto bene. Kaitlyn ha detto lo stesso. Dopo della degustazione, abbiamo comprato sette bottiglie – sei per portare a casa ed una per bere durante nostro picnic nel giardino. Abbiamo bevuto il Moscato nel giardino e abbiamo mangiato pan con champagne senape. Era un buon modo per divertirci e avere un tempo romantico nel pomeriggio durante nostro viaggio de sorprese.

In Inglese: An Afternoon at Bogle Vineyards

About two and half weeks ago, Kaitlyn and I had dinner at my house on my patio. That night, she brought a bottle of wine from a vineyard called – Bogle. That night, I searched for their address on my iPhone and found that Bogle is near Sacramento, CA. Bogle is one of her favorite vineyards and at that time, I was planning a trip for her and I. That night, I realized that I wanted to take her to Bogle to visit their vineyard and try their wines. But Kaitlyn did not know anything about where we would go. She only knew that we would go somewhere for a day and a night.

We flew from Palo Alto to Sacramento Executive Airport this past Saturday in the afternoon for a trip of surprises (you can read more about our flight in my post – 1st Fall Getaway). After a short drive from the airport through the country near the Sacramento River, we arrived at the Bogle Vineyard. The vineyard is very beautiful with a garden and a picnic area (you can read more of our time in their garden in my post – Un Viaje de Sorpresas en Sacramento).

A Bogle, Kaitlyn and I tried many of their wines and I was very impressed with their wines. All of their wines were very smooth and balanced. Every time I tried a wine, I had a look of surprise. That day, Bogle had the following seven wines for tasting.

My favorites were the Sauvignon Blanc (the same I had when Kaitlyn and I had dinner at my house), the Moscato, the Phantom, and the Petite Sirah Port. We tried the Port with chocolate and it was very good with chocolate. Normally, I do not like Port, but with chocolate it was very good. Kaitlyn said the same. After the tasting, we bought seven bottles – six to take home and one for drinking during our picnic in the garden. We drank the Moscato in the garden and ate bread with champagne mustard that we bought at the vineyard. It was a good way to enjoy ourselves and have a romantic time in the afternoon during our trip of surprises.
